The north of the United Kingdom is the place for vacations in Scotland. Scotland takes one third of the island Great Britain.

The Scottish capital Edinburgh holds the rank of the second top destination in the UK after London with 1 million people visiting. A population around 449,000 lives in the capital and about 5.1 million is the country population with the census in 2006.
