Travel United Arab Emirates


Travel United Arab Emirates leads to a small mainly Islamic country, south west of Asia along the Persian Gulf, about the size of 83.6 thousand square kilometres. The UAE share borders with Saudi Arabia to the west and south, to the east with Oman, the Gulf of Oman, and to the northwest with Qatar. The boundary is in some areas is still reason for changes due to ongoing disputes. The same applies to a number of the islands belonging to the UAE in the Persian Gulf.

Seven emirates, states, form the UAE. They are Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, Ajman, Umm al-Quwain, Ras al-Khaimah and Fujairah. According to 2009 estimates a population of 4.6 million are living there. Of this total only one fifth are Emerati.

The country’s political centre is located in Abu Dhabi which is capital and second largest city. Area wise this emirate counts for 87%. The official language is Arab with a strong promotion in schools towards English as the second language.

Dubai situated at the coastline of the Persian Gulf has about 1.8 million inhabitants and is therefore the most populous city in the country.

The country grew rich on the natural resource crude oil. Travel United Arab Emirates today introduce to an innovative diversified economy built on service, IT, construction, and a booming and multiplying tourism sector.
