A waterfall walk for the whole family with picnic on the rocks at Fairy Falls.

The Fairy Falls Track loop takes about two hours in a leisurely pace. Starting point is either off Scenic Drive or off Mountain Road. It is a well maintained track with far reaching views over all Auckland. Some steep stairs help to manage landscape differences and two water crossings.

Nice picnic places are either directly on the rocks at the waterhole under a kauri tree or at the bottom of the fall. These are also the spots children love to play at water's edge.
