Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly Markets
The weekly or monthly market day brings together fruit and vegetable farmers, freshly caught fish, producers of speciality food products, herbal body care products, and crafts people to show off their work as well as clothing new and used and bric-a-brac.
Markets are colourful places that reflect the multi culture of the people living in this area. Hustling and buzzing in many tongues and specialities of different nations melt together.
West Auckland has a variety of farmer markets, regional markets and markets related to Labour Day and New Zealand Christmas. It is a perfect way to connect and get to know local communities and their produce and arts and crafts all year round.
For those curious about products from New Zealand but to far away from here to visit a market day we have affiliated with two New Zealand companies. Both sell online beautiful things to remember and New Zealand travel gifts. Following these links gives a brief company profile and mission. Each of the two offers an extensive product range with New Zealand made and New Zealand designed objects and delicacies.

At the place before the race course building buskers often entertain the crowd and passers by.
Stalls display fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables from local growers as well as imported ones. Freshly caught fish, flowers, plants, carved bone jewelry, new and used clothes, and bric-a-brac are on offer all the same.
