Ninety three kilometres south of Sicily holidays in Malta promise an all year round mild climate. Averaging temperatures are on the low side around 9 °C in January and rise in the summer months July and August to around 30 °C. The water temperatures in the surrounding Mediterranean Sea are as moderate with a low of 16 °C in the winter month and a high during summer of 26 °C.
