Under February events you find interesting things that are happening in the west of Auckland.

Each suburb has its own calendar full of activities. Spread over the year are bigger yearly events. This month is the 'Waitangi Day' and the 'Chinese Lantern Festival' that move crowds to attend.

This is a public holiday in memory to the Treaty of Waitangi.

Okahu Bay, Orakei starting at 8.30am with a rowing ceremony, followed by music entertainment …
