Under December events you find interesting things that are happening in the west of Auckland.

Each suburb has its own calendar full of activities. Spread over the year are bigger yearly events specific to region and communities and smaller events organised by community groups. Some of them are free to raise funds for a good cause, others encourage family fun time, introduce musical sounds or theatre plays. There are many more reasons to gather and celebrate.

This is the month leading towards 'New Zealand Christmas'. Carol singing, Santa in the park, and Christmas Parades are smaller and bigger events leading towards Christmas Day. The most significant of these events is 'Christmas in the Park' and the 'Farmers Parade' in Auckland City.

Altogether upcoming events reflect the multicultural background of the people living here.
