Whats On?

Our West Auckland events calendar lists each month interesting things small and big that are keeping the West entertained.

Each suburb has its own calendar full of activities. There are market days, community events on public places and centres etc. . Spread over the year are bigger yearly events specific to region and communities and smaller events organised by community groups. Some of them are free to raise funds for a good cause. Others encourage family fun time, introduce musical sounds or theatre plays. There are many more reasons to gather and celebrate. 

Altogether upcoming events reflect the multicultural background of the people living here.

January

Fri. 27- Mo. 30 January Auckland Buskers Festival

Celebration of the Chinese New Year in Albert Park, 5pm to 10.30pm daily, free

6 February: Waitangi Day

This is a public holiday in memory to the Treaty of Waitangi.

Free family events take place in:
Okahu Bay, Orakei starting at 8.30am with a rowing ceremony, followed by music entertainment …
