Musicians and artists as well as martial art performers entertained visitors that came to view the lantern display to welcome, with Auckland's Chinese community, the Chinese New Year. A food stall promenade fed the crowd and fun activities kept younger visitors happily entertained. The sparkling highlight was the finalising firework on this yearly event.
